Rex Racer's Now and Then

Since Rex Racer came to Ben, 3 months has passed. I was very interested to see the change on Rex. Ben sent several photos of him.

A little puppy became a dignified fellow.

But he may need some hard training at obedient school.

Change in the next few month will be minimal. I will post if I see some new photos of him. 

Christmas Lights

Decorating for Christmas was used to be easy. Today, some went beyond my imagination to celebrate Christmas with thousands of lights and their choreographic show. I drove around and took some video of Christmas lights.

We went to Louisville, Kentucky to celebrate Mom's birthday a few weeks ago. Pictures and video stips used here were taken at the Galt House Hotel in Louisville.

We were like little children worndered around Christmas decoration, Kalightoscope and Colors of the Season show.

We welcome a new member in our family. He is 9 weeks old Rex Racer.

한국으로 출장갈때면 아무리 바쁜 중에도 시간을 내여 찾은 곳은 서점이었다. 그런데 지난 여름, 이젠 직장에서 자유인이 되어 느슨히 짜인 일정임에도 불구하고 서점에 갈 틈을 찾지 못했다. 그 날도 종로 지하철역에서 인디아나에서 온 촌 티를 내며, 길을 묻고 있을때, 이리로 저리로 하며 가르키는 손끝을 따르다 보니 큰 서점이 보인다.

그 곳을 나올때에는 내 손에 세권의 책이 들려 있었다. 이어령 교수의 "지성에서 영성으로", 빌 하이벨스 목사의 "주의 음성", 그리고 꼬맹이라고 자칭하는 장여진이 지은 "참 쉬운 떡 만들기"라는 책이다. 이 책의 제목들은 아마도 나의 생각과 마음속에 맴도는 바람들인지 모른다. 그런데 "왠 떡"인가? 얼마전 인사동 떡 집에 진열된 먹음직하고 보람직한 떡을 마침 점심 식사후라 눈 요기만 하고 아쉽게 돌아섰기 때문인가?

여기에 두 사람의 이야기를 소개하려 한다. 삶의 벼랑 끝에서 예수님을 만난 이민아 목사의 이야기와 그 딸의 기도와 치유로 예수님 앞에 무릎을 꿇은 한국의 지성인이요 무신론자였던 이어령 교수의 이야기다.
